Road - Rome Advanced District: new research hub

"Road - Rome Advanced District," a network of companies formed by Eni, Acea, Autostrade per l'Italia, Bridgestone, Cisco, Gruppo Fs and NextChem for the development, within the Gazometro area of Rome Ostiense, of the first technological innovation district dedicated to new energy supply chains, is born in Rome.

The purpose of the hub is to develop, promote, accelerate innovation projects and scientific, industrial and technological research through supply chain collaborations between research and development departments of companies, universities, startups, research centers and innovative SMEs on technologies for the energy and digital transition.

The center will also carry out testing activities of emerging technologies to support the community, as well as attract and train talents for the development of new trades and knowledge in the areas of decarbonization, circular economy, along with energy efficiency and storage, sustainable mobility, smart city, health and safety promotion.
