Micam, the footwear fair, was inaugurated on February 18th at Fiera Milano, alongside “Milano Fashion&Jewels”, “Mipel” and “The one Milano”. During the opening speech, the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, stated the following words: "You are competitive globally in high-end products".
Micam features 923 brands, including 464 Italian and 459 international ones. The central exhibition, titled "Made to be collectible", showcases creations that have made history in Italian footwear. Its curators expressed their intentions: "What we want to convey, especially to the young, is what our products mean in the world. If they are Made in Italy shoes, they are collectible shoes".
In the showrooms, which will remain open until February 21st, there are 2951 fashion brands present.
