Italy assists Tel Aviv's metro project
In the context of the design of the Tel Aviv Metro stations, the Italian company One Works will collaborate with the joint venture Mlead, which includes Israeli consultants from Inproject Davelman Perzlina, Mahod Engineering and the French engineering company Artelia. One Works will lead the architectural design of 25 new stations and associated public areas for the Tel Aviv Metro M3.
The M3 line will extend 39 km and will have major interchange stations with the M1 (Blue) line in Glilot and Holon Yoseftal and with the M2 (Brown) line in Kfar Ganim. Once completed, it will serve approximately 480,000 passengers per day, connecting major urban areas and Israel's international airport.
The M3 is part of a master plan comprising three lines (M1, M2 and M3) with a total investment of approximately EUR 20 billion. This project includes the construction of 150 km of underground transport network, 109 stations, 24 integrated communities and four depots. The total estimated cost for the infrastructure is approximately EUR 40 billion.
