« Go back Guido Carli award to Fausto Pugliesi
Sicilian designer Fausto Puglisi, creative director of Roberto Cavalli, has been awarded the Guido Carli prize. To the advocate of the relaunch of the Florentine brand, a prominent role in promoting and spreading Italian style and craftsmanship worldwide has been recognized.
The motivations for the award, presented by Ornella Barra, COO of International Walgreens Boots Alliance, are as follows: “Fausto Puglisi, fascinated by fashion since childhood, has dressed the greatest world-famous artists, and since October 2020, he has been the creative director of the Roberto Cavalli brand, created by the recently deceased Florentine genius. Puglisi is the ideal heir for vivacity, glamour, love for femininity, and bold contrasts”.
Guido Carli award, established by the Guido Carli Foundation, has reached its XV edition. The award is given to companies and cultural entities committed to social engagement.
