Grappa: exports grew by +32% in 3 years
From 2019 to 2022, grappa exports grew by +32%, reaching 60 million euro.
In Germany distillate exports are worth 54% of the total market share. Important numbers also come from the United States with a growth of +39% and from Japan with 40% growth.
“Italian distilleries are increasingly focused on international markets, because in three years exports have grown by one third” said Emanuele Di Faustino, head of industry & retail di Nomisma.
In the future, promotional activities will be key to making grappa known around the world, among them tastings at the horeca channel.
