Fashion Panorama – The Italian New Wave
Fashion Panorama - The Italian New Wave is a project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, realised in collaboration with Vogue Italia, which aims to spread the creativity of young Italian fashion designers all over the world.
It is an exhibition conceived to give voice and visibility to the new generations of Italian fashion designers, promoting their vision and work at an international level. Thanks to the invaluable support of the diplomatic-consular network, the Italian Cultural Institutes and the ICE Agency Offices, the exhibition aims to enhance the crucial role of fashion in Italy and to inspire the world with the excellence of Made in Italy, while maintaining a strong and synergic connection with other cultural and creative expressions of the country.
The September stop for Fashion Panorama is Detroit, where the "LoveITDetroit" event is a collaboration between the Consulate of Italy in Detroit and the Dante Alighieri Society of Michigan. The installation "LoveITDetroit," celebrating Made in Italy design and talent, is open to the public until 30 September at 1001 Woodward Ave, in Campus Martius, Detroit's main square, winner of the title of "Best Square in the United States" this year.
