Unioncamere and Ministry of Tourism join forces for a digital future
Unioncamere and the Ministry of Tourism are ready to involve and mobilize more than 20,000 companies belonging to the tourism chain by June 2024. These companies will actively participate in the programmes promoted by the Ministry. This significant commitment will be realized with the creation of the Tourism Digital Hub (TDH), a cutting-edge platform for content and services created by MiTur itself.
The TDH aims to create a platform capable of integrating the entire Italian tourism landscape. The aim is to enhance, unite and promote the tourism offer in Italy, making synergic use of the information already collected by the regional and local systems. The goal is to coordinate efforts to promote Italy effectively on international markets.
The agreement covers several initiatives at the territorial level that will involve the system of local Chambers of Commerce and trade associations. These initiatives include several activities aimed at supporting the quantitative and qualitative enhancement of content on the Tourism Digital Hub platform. This effort will create a solid link between all the actors involved in the tourism ecosystem.
