Made in Italy sales increase in Serbia
In the four-year period 2019-2022, overall Made in Italy sales in Serbia are increasing overall by nearly 300 million euros, growing from 1862 million euros in 2018 to close to 2.2 billion euros at the end of the forecast period.
In particular, the Serbian market appears to offer the greatest opportunities for growth in the industrial components, intermediate goods and industrial raw materials sectors.
The opportunities for Made in Italy in Serbia mainly concern the Agri-food chain (with an expected increase of almost 20 million euros over the four-year period as a whole) and for Finished Personal Products (+12.3 million euros). Specifically, in packaged food, the most significant increases are in the Meat and Fish, Processed and Packaged (+3.8mln euros) and Packaged Tea and Coffee (+2.1mln euros) sectors; also growing in beverages is the Alcoholic Beverages segment. In the Person system, however, the expected increases in Italian sales of Outerwear, Underwear and Hosiery, Footwear, Perfumes and Cosmetics should be highlighted.
Positive growths (albeit with smaller increases overall) also for Italian exports of Natural Raw Materials (+6.8 million euros in the 2019-2022 scenario), Transport and Agricultural Means (+6.6 million euros, attributable almost entirely to the Automobiles, Buses and Caravans sector), Construction Goods and Products (+4.2 million euros), Tools and Equipment for Industry and Health Products and Instruments (both sectors with expected increases of almost 4 million euros).
