The future of Italian exports has a new beating heart: Africa. The second edition of the Africa Champion Program 2026, a strategic initiative dedicated to Italian companies that aim to be more than just "exporters," but true protagonists in a market growing at double speed.
The program is not limited to a single area; it encompasses key nations that serve as fundamental logistical and commercial hubs for the entire continent. Among the countries at the center of this edition are dynamic markets hungry for Italian excellence, including:
- Egypt and Morocco: Natural bridges between the Mediterranean and Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Ivory Coast and Senegal: The economic engines of West Africa.
- Kenya and Ethiopia: Strategic hubs for the entire technology and infrastructure sectors in the East.

The Africa Champion Program tour features several key milestones for networking and B2B engagement:
- March – April 2026: Vertical sessions on agribusiness and energy transition (focusing on Made in Italy technologies).
- May 2026: Economic Forum in Rome for direct matching between African buyers and Italian producers.
- June 2026: On-the-ground business missions to the main African capitals involved.
The goal is clear: to facilitate import-export through secure, institutional channels. The program offers Italian firms the opportunity to present their catalogs (both B2B and B2C) to a curated audience of foreign investors. Simultaneously, it provides African operators with all the technical and commercial information needed to adopt Italian innovation—from cutting-edge agricultural machinery to retail and fashion solutions.
In parallel with the program, major international trade fairs in Italy (such as Ecomondo or Cibus) will be intensively promoted in the participating African countries. The objective is to bring African "Champions" directly to our exhibition halls to experience the quality of our companies firsthand, creating a constant and bidirectional flow of information.
